Denny James Melreit, drummer, learned to play as a young man. He says that he was hooked after watching Ringo Starr with the Beatles on the Ed Sullivan show. Melreits' style of playing continues to set standards initially enhanced by his former musical affiliates at Alligator Records.
Denny James has opened for and played with some of blues' greatest artists such as Son Seals, Blues Traveler, Clarence"Gatemouth"Brown, The Kinsey Report and many more.
